Scope

The National Seismic Hazard Maps for Japan consists of probabilistic seismic hazard maps and scenario earthquake shaking maps. Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research (No.23241054) holds members related to the probabilistic seismic hazard maps, and focuses on to develop advanced and accurate ground motion prediction equations that play an important role in the probabilistic seismic hazard. The workshop consists of research presentations by international/national invited speakers and discussion of ground motion prediction equations and seismic hazard assessment.
